Week one of the Ambershore Knit-Along

As I make progress on my Ambershore Shawl I’m highly aware of my personal deadlines based on the demonstrations I have planned to film. I work well with deadlines, hence this knit-along! So, this is fun for me.

I need to knit 40 more rows before Sunday so I can film the colourwork demo, and boy am I excited to introduce my arbutus-brown to this light indigo blue.

That's 12.5 rows a day. But my goal is to get them knit by Friday so I can film the colourwork demo then. Let's see how I do.

I made some calculations and it turns out we only need to knit 4 rows per day over this 60+ day knit-along to complete the shawl!

Sure, every second row increases by 4 stitches, so our rows get longer each day, BUT I think 4 rows a day is manageable goal, don’t you?
