Natural Dyeing - Saturday April 13th, 2024

Learn to dye wool yarn with plants at the Everlea Studio with Janna Maria. You will learn how to make natural dye extracts, how to prepare wool yarn for dye, and then we will use immersion dyeing for single colour yarns as well as semi-immersion dyeing for two-colour dyeing. You will go home with two skeins of naturally dyed yarn that you have dyed in colours of your choosing, as well as samples and recipes of a variety of colours which we will have dyed together that day.
