Intro to Tapestry Weaving

This workshop is an intimate deep-dive into tapestry weaving which introduces you to the fundamentals of tapestry on your mini loom, in a chock-full 2-hours that you can watch over and over again.

I cover the elements of design to consider for tapestry using paper collage and then dive into the basics of tapestry weaving including some 'magic' techniques.

You will need the following materials:

• A tapestry loom
• Three or more colours of the same weight yarn (fingering, sport, DK, or worsted weight)
• Two tapestry needles
• Paint chips or magazines cutouts that match your yarn colourways and archival glue stick (optional)
• Tape
• Scissors
• A pencil
